About the daycare

At our daycare, we hold the belief that children thrive when they are engaged in hands-on experiences. We offer a wide range of daily activities that enable them to explore, experiment, socialize, create, and have fun with their peers. By following their interests, we ensure that their learning experiences are enjoyable and engaging, knowing that play is an essential component of learning. We provide a nurturing environment where children feel valued, respected, and loved, helping them to acquire new skills and knowledge to prepare them for their kindergarten journey.

Get to know the director

My name is Martha Dominguez, and I am the director of the Play and Learn Together daycare. I have 18 years of experience working with children, from infants and toddlers to preschoolers. I worked for 14 years in Headstart, and now I have been running my own center for 4 years. I opened this center because I love working with children; it's my passion, and I enjoy it from my heart.

I graduated from PCC with an AA in Early Education in 2014, and my assistant is also updating herself in early education. We are constantly taking classes to keep ourselves updated in early education to support all children in our center in the best way possible. We are also certified and follow all state regulations. We always keep ourselves up-to-date with all the regulations that the state requires."

We serve nutritious, fresh, healthy meals based on SNAP food programs (The Northwest) for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

We work with nature where we teach them to plant vegetables such as tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, peas, etc.
